Open positions

The open positions table shows how other people are LPing a pool: how wide their ranges are, whether they are in range, and how they are doing. It is the fastest way to learn what works in a pool before you commit capital.

What is listed

Every open position worth at least $500, up to 300 per pool, largest first. Positions are found by an hourly on-chain scan of the pool, so a position opened a few minutes ago may not appear yet.

Closed positions are not listed. Closing a position burns its NFT, so nothing on chain still points to it.

Summary line

Above the table, one line sums up how the pool is LP'd: how many positions are open and in range, the width within which half the value sits, and the share of the liquidity at the price held by ±1%-or-tighter ranges.

Filters and sorting

  • Status: all positions, in range only, or out of range only.
  • Width: any, ±1% or narrower, ±1–5%, or wider.
  • Click a column header to sort. Show more loads the next batch.

Status notes under a number

  • approx: one deposit or withdrawal moved only one token, and no nearby swap gave its exact price, so it is valued at the edge of the range. The P&L is close but not exact.
  • changed since read · updating: the position changed on chain since its history was last read, for example a top-up or a partial withdrawal. The row shows the last complete reading until the new one lands, usually within the hour.
  • not read yet: the position is new to rangebound and its history is queued.

Reading it well

  • Very young positions swing wildly. A few hours of fees annualised can read as thousands of percent. Look at age before APR.
  • Divergence dominates tight ranges. A tight position with large fees can still be down if the price trended through its range.
  • One large LP can hold most of the liquidity at the price. Check the share in the range hover: a new position beside them earns a small slice of each swap.
